Police in Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture, have arrested a 36-year-old unemployed woman on suspicion of killing her one-month-old son last year.
Police said Sayuri Ito, who lived with her husband, three-year-old daughter and son Minato, has admitted to the charge. She is accused of throwing her son Minato to the floor and beating him at their apartment last Aug 22, Fuji TV reported. She was quoted as saying, “I became frustrated because Minato wouldn’t stop crying and threw him to the floor. Then I shook his body.”
On the morning of Aug 23, Ito called 119 and said her son “wasn’t breathing.” Minato was taken to hospital where he died at around 10:55 a.m. that day.
The hospital contacted police to report a case of possible fatal child abuse after seeing that he had sustained multiple injuries.

Her confession should read, “I’m a selfish little brat at 36 years old and my baby wouldn’t stop crying, so I killed it.” - Will this case be added to the every growing child abuse statistic or will be just another family murder? When you think about all the caring and loving people around the world who long to have children, but are unable to because of medical or legal reasons it makes one very angry to see a trout like this just kill her baby for nothing more than selfish immaturity.

She needs to be forcefully sterilized so she can't ever do this again. She will avoid jail time most likely, as is the norm here in these situations.

I think a visit to the shrink should be mandatory here before getting pregnant. Too many sick, selfish and irresponsible people become parents without knowing what they are getting themselves into.
I mean you have to be sick to do this kind of thing to your own baby, no same mother would do this.

Again with the calling for a woman to be maimed. Nobody should be forcefully sterilized. The case is tragic enough without adding misogynistic barbarism to it.
