Police in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, have arrested a 25-year-old woman and her 27-year-old former boyfriend on suspicion of fatally abusing her four-year-old son.
According to police, Satomi Tsuchiya and her former boyfriend Kazuki Muto, a salesman, abused her son Shuga repeatedly between February and April, Sankei Shimbun reported. Tsuchiya took her son, who was unconscious, to a hospital on April 22. He died the next day due to bleeding in the brain.
The hospital notified police about a case of possible child abuse.
Police questioned Satomi who admitted beating Shuga about the head. She also said that Muto had kicked Shuga in the stomach numerous times in early April.
Police quoted Tsuchiya, who has been a single mother since December 2015, as saying she had become irritated from child-rearing.

Death sentence please.

These brain dead, but biological 'mothers' should be required by law to stop taking Stupid Pills and hooking up with a 'boyfriend', who quickly figures out her child is in the way. No doubt, "If you really love me, let's get rid of the kid." If only Japan had an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth law and would sanction me to return his and her treatment of the kid in kind. It would be my pleasure!

It isn't always the boyfriend's insistence on getting rid of the child but the woman's infatuation with the boyfriend or the fact that the child reminds her of her hated ex.
One of my cousin's friends in the U.S. advertised on Facebook that she fell in love with a man on the internet and became lovers. So she asked her friends to take in her son because she wanted to focus on her relationship with the new boyfriend. As stupid as this sounds, it probably saved the boy from future neglect or possible neglect. I wish the same thing happened in many of these cases instead of losing lives needlessly.

This pattern of abuse is familiar from the earliest days of mankind: violent primate behavior when brawn gets the better of brain, which is why the death penalty will have zero effect on eliminating such atrocious and disgusting mistreatment of the young by adults. More investment in social services and stricter monitoring of individual cases would save more lives, but this type of violence is, sadly, one of the behavioral phenotypes of our species.

Hang both Losers, for killing this innocent child. God have mercy on his soul.

""She also said that Muto had kicked Shuga in the stomach numerous times in early April.""
She just had to drag the boyfriend with her, if that is the case then why she did not report the boyfriend abuse earlier!!?

Two more POS. 'Irritated from child-rearing' just makes my blood boil. Hope they both get the lengthy sentences they deserve. RIP, little guy.

Repugnant.
I feel for the little guy. The fear, pain, and confusion he must have felt is unimaginable.

And I get "irritated" at these child-murderers. Yes, Mirai, castration. There are lots of people who would make wonderful loving parents - gay, straight, young, old, male, female, but for some reason can't have children. And then you have these depraved people having children non-stop.

It is no coincidence these instances of child abuse and murder are reported with more frequency on the news. Society and culture are breaking down for sure.

Just disgusting. I have children, and yes they can be annoying. But beating and kicking a 4-year old is just something I can wrap my head around. Animals.

Wow. Nobody who is a parent will tell you raising kids is easy. A very close friend of mine said to me when my 2nd child was born a couple of years ago; 'You'll never work harder in your life than you will in the next 5 years.' And she was exactly right. Going to work feels like my downtime. All of which has been exacerbated over the last 6 weeks in lockdown, and you can tell by the looks in fellow parents eyes as we chat in passing that it's a universal experience.
But this is just appalling. Sustained, cruel abuse of a small and helpless child who trusts parents to look after him, not abuse him to death.

It must be a living hell to be a child whose parents/guardians abuse them. To any degree. The child has no one to turn to, or give protection and nurturing.

It doesn't sound stupid. Just cruel and selfish.
