Police in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, have received a series of reports of animals being dismembered and left in public places.
Police say that incidents had been reported in which cats had been killed and dismembered. Police also say there have now been three reported incidents in which pigeons' heads were removed and their bodies left near sidewalks and other public places to be found by passersby, Fuji TV reported Thursday.
Since March of last year, 16 cats have been found killed and dismembered. Local residents were quoted as saying they are frightened and don't now what to expect next.
Police say the locations and timing of the recent incidents involving pigeons are different to those of last year involving cats. As such, they believe the latest incidents may have been committed by a different individual copying the modus operandi of the original perpetrator.

Who ever it is wants to remain anonymous, and they are sick and a coward picking on helpless animals. But there is something funny about all of this, and yeah it may be just a silly theory of mine.
However, you noticed how there wasn't any dogs reported being killed like this? Just birds and cats... Perhaps it's because the attention that people give to a dog in distress, rather than a cat? For instance, how many people really take notice and look around or up when alley cats get into a brawl running around hissing and knocking things over, or sound as if they have been killed.
One time I had waked past this cat that had been ran over by a car. It was still alive trying to meow and in pain, and lets just say it was almost in two, but not severed. Some of the people walked past the poor thing looking and looked away most never even noticed, me and an older lady had stopped and I wanted so bad to somehow put it out of it's misery. She had asked me if it were mine, and I told her no. She then called some pet control place, and I stayed with her until they came. It was terrible.
But then a different time a boy accidentally ran over his dog's tail with his bicycle, and the small dog let out a few loud yelps. Just about everyone in a 3 mile radius turned around and stared at them for a good 30-45 seconds as if they were watching a crime scene unfold. The boy couldn't understand why so many people were staring at him as he sat there petting his dog. Just saying.....

Brings to mind the "Sakakibara" incident which happened in Kobe some years ago... This "kid" (he was about 12 years old, if I remember rightly ?) started off by killing cats and other small animals before cutting the head off of a younger boy and placing it, like a trophy, where all could see it... As whiskeysour says, that's how it starts...

Give them some credit, unlike in some Christian country, no one here is suggesting that it is some sort of Occult crime committed by Satanists. They admit that they have no idea what is going on . Sticking with the facts until you have evidence is a strange thing for a great many police forces to do in our world, and for the media to do for that matter.

This perp needs to be caught right away before he graduates to killing people. Many serial killers have followed the likeness of this by first acting out there sadistic rituals on animals the later moving up to doing the same with people. Jeffrey Dahmer is one example.

But there is someone living and working in kure who allready killed 2 children back in 1997. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_child_murders As we all know juvenile offenders are protectet by law so they named him BOY A. Juvenile offenders dont get high or long penaltys and there identity is protected after they have served their sentence.
Anyway, this guy works since few years in kure and lives there as well. I wonder if the police is checking on him from time to time and if they pay him a visit after this cats&birts thing. He also did this long time before he killt the 2 children.
I dont say he did this Kure thing but it may be a good idea to talk to that guy.
