Police have arrested an unemployed 34-year-old man living in Nagoya on suspicion of threatening to kill a child in a message posted on the city's website.
According to police, on the night of January 13, Takemi Otani posted a threatening message on the Nagoya City "Voices of the People" column homepage. In his post, Otani wrote, "I'm going to kill a child tomorrow at 2 p.m."
Otani posted the message a total of 32 times, TBS reported Tuesday.
The day after the threat was posted, all Nagoya City elementary schools and day-care centers delayed letting their students out until after 3 p.m. There were no attacks reported, police said.
Police used the suspect's IP address found on his confiscated computer to confirm his involvement in the crime. Otani has confessed to posting the message and was charged with forcible obstruction of business, police said.
Police are also investigating whether Otani was behind a similar threat posted Jan 9 on the homepage of Setagaya Ward in Tokyo.

Another creep with mental health issues, glad he was caught before he was able to carry out his twisted threats, what is up with these freaks these days wanting to post sick messages etc.

Maybe this unemployed male just needed a warm place to sleep, and wanted his meals handed to him.

When one is unemployed, one has nothing better to do... and "unemployed at 34" most probably means he's not quite "all there"...

Internet trolls deserve punishment.

Forget jail. Plywood, concrete and a boat. Plus a story that he escaped and can't be found.

These places should require parents to pick up their kids, anyway. If someone really wanted to kill children I'm sure he could get into a school easily.
