Police in Sapporo have arrested a 24-year-old man for causing damage to a taxi after he got into the vehicle naked and caused a ruckus when the driver asked him to get out.
According to police, the man, a part-time worker, was naked went he opened the door and got into the taxi at a taxi stand near Sapporo's Odori Park at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Fuji TV reported. When the driver looked back and saw that the man was naked, he stopped the taxi and asked him to get out. Police said the man became violent and pounded the acrylic panel between the passenger seat and the driver's seat, breaking it.
Police said the man, who was charged with destruction of property, was drunk when he was apprehended and quoted him as saying he doesn't remember anything about the incident.© Japan Today
