Police in Tokyo have arrested a 52-year-old male nursing assistant on suspicion of assaulting a 61-year-old bedridden patient at the hospital where he worked.
According to police, in March, the suspect, Keijiro Ishizaki, is believed to have kicked the male patient’s bed and hit him repeatedly in the abdomen at the hospital in Itabashi Ward. Sankei Shimbun reported that the incident came to light when another employee saw Ishizaki assaulting the patient, and alerted police.
Ishizaki was quoted as saying he got angry when he brought the patient’s dinner but the patient wouldn't follow his instructions, so he hit him.

Stress control techniques should become a national TV topic/lesson. 49% talento 49% cooking/food shows, 2% of something productive.....

There is more swept under the rug. There are lot of patients suffering from abuse. They don't complain nor report the incidents because they have nobody to take care of them.

"Ishizaki was quoted as saying he got angry when he brought the patient’s dinner but the patient wouldn’t follow his instructions, so he hit him. "
Yeah......and this is the ONLY way he could've taken care of the situation? By hitting an old person. Aren't we the "big man"!
