You have to wonder about the emotional fitness of police recruits.

Maybe she found a guy with a bigger gun and he didn't take the news very well! Gun envoy!

Not Osaka, say no more. Would have been much more normal in Saitama. And this time the cops have a twofer. Brilliant.

While I agree with most of the posts...I would like more information. Since when is a news article 3 sentences long? What happened to the giving the details...what is this twitter news?

What a piece of work.... Where do they get these people from...?

With the sheer volume of incidences by these JCops, one would think, there are either millions and millions of JCops running around, with just a few bad apples, or just a few JCops and a large percentage of them rotten to the core...

Another Clever Cop NOT !

Why is it some of these police show themselves to be some of the dumbest people of all?

Another regrettable incident. Expect an explanation that he was drunk at the time, one month's loss of pay, profound apology, life carries on for J-police....

1 ( +3 / -3 )

well it is not clear he did it on duty or off duty and looks like JapanToday never miss a chance to make fun of JCop.

Yeah, what's with the backwards naming all the time? It should be the perp or suspect if anyone at all. Better to keep them all under wraps when possible til court.

At least this time they didn't name the woman.

Looks like the J-cops are going for a record month. He should be 'forced to quit'? No, he should be locked up.

an apparent love triangle

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

I like how they named the perpetrator and not the victim! Too many times only the victim is named.

If the Hokkaido Officer who left the loaded gun in the loo quit, this guy definitely should.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

The guy was literally dating above his rank and he still assaulted her. Calling him stupid would be an understatement.
