An enormous amount of girl's clothing has been discovered at the home of a man who was arrested for committing obscene acts toward women, police said Tuesday. The clothing is said to have been stolen from schools in a total of 11 prefectures, with some coming from as far north as Iwate and as far south as Kagawa.
Tsuyoshi Gokadani, 28, an unemployed resident of Fujisawa City, was arrested for embracing a 33-year-old woman from behind then stealing 6,000 yen in cash on a road last February in Atsugi City. Upon searching Gokadani's home, police found over 300 items of clothing from high school girl's uniforms and PE outfits.
When questioned, the suspect stated that, "I stole the uniforms on trips around the country to places like Iwate and Kagawa." He was quoted as saying that he likes high school girls and that he felt excited when breaking in to schools. Police suspect he may have committed many more similar crimes.© Japan Today
