Because this organization has 30 women weighing up to 150 kg, which is the equivalent to approximately 86 "normal" sized chicks. So when you think of it, this was quite a large crime-ring.

Still dont get it; Were they arrested for being 'overweight' or for 'prostitution'? There are hundreds like these types of businesses in JP, including the famous brothel right behind the 'Shibuya' Koban, but I guess that one is convenient for the cops.

Typical of Japan to stifle innovation. Here was a woman who found a niche in the market that clearly the Yakuza had failed to exploit. So they called their mates in the police and had it shut down.

Like others I do not see this as a problem. If the women are of age then let them at it. I have to give it up for Saito-san. These women are doing what they do because they're hurting for money. When government policies drive people to desperation, and then sends the cops to arrest them when they sell their bodies in order to live, it's hard to blame people like the man who tried to burn down the city office in Hyogo the other day. In fact, it's a wonder more Japanese aren't tossing Molotov cocktails at government buildings.
