Twenty cars were found to have had their tires slashed on the streets and in the carparks of municipal housing blocks in Akashi City on Monday morning.
Police received a call from a resident of one of the apartment blocks on Sunday morning, saying one of his car tires had been damaged. As of Monday morning, police had found a total of 20 cars with their tires slashed by an instrument similar to an awl.

police wheely need to get out, tread the streets and get a grip on this before it steers out of control. I'd say they should be looking for a frustrated racing driver with an inflated ego and an awl to grind
