Gee, what a surprise, a JCop arrested for taking up-skirt pictures.... I tell ya, this is a rare, once in a lifetime event... (¬_¬)....

Like what's with a 23 year old guy who needs to do that sort of stuff? With all that nice candy in izakayayas and everywhere else around for the taking, who needs looking up skirts with a camera? And to top it off, a cop trainee.

Its bad if the cops are doing the thing that thier supposed to stop people from doing.

Fadamor -- why don't you answer your own question? Maybe it is because it took the authorities over two months to admit/divulge that he was a police trainee, even though he resigned that same day. Wasn't that newsworthy then, too? Then how come it wasn't stated then? Also, doesn't "the man" have a name?

Why did he resign? Shouldn't he be promoted in the J-cop family?

Forgive what may be a dumb question, but why is this a crime? Aren't people free to take pics of whatever they like, as long as they don't touch the girls or lift up their skirts? If a woman sitting across from me on a train has her legs slightly spread apart, would it be a crime if I took a picture? (Don't get me wrong, I'm not into this sort of thing . . . just wondering what the law/crime is.)

They have a new unit of cops, specialising in chasing all the perverts roaming through Japan. All for the safety of schoolgirls (and adult women) here. Since it takes one to know one, all these young recruits have to go through these steps. They must become perverts as part of their training.
