Don't drink with your boss, could cost you your job

And yet, it's standard practice in Japan. I never understood it, myself. Why people would want to spend more time with their co-workers, and especially their boss, after spending all day with them, I'll never understand.

The assailant probably had enough of the senior bull’s craphft and let her have it. Some contrition, an apology, a little monetary compensation and, perhaps, a return to work as certainly they’re short on persons wanting to enter such a dead-end career…

Funny. They went to a Karaoke bar together and ended up in a bloody fight. Should have stayed home or go get a drink at your local 7/11. There is peace in being alone.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Jan 8.

The victim suffered a broken nose and filed a criminal complaint against Ujikawa on Jan 19.

The fight happened on Jan 8 and complaint was filed on Jan 19, I am interested in what happened in the 11 days.

Unless the boss was incapacitated, there’s some reason she kept silent for 11 days.

Geometrically thinking, I suspect a triangular relation. The two women are the two sides of the triangle. The third side is the unknown.

Most cops go to ‘cop bars’ so they can blow off some steam together, share ‘war stories’ and build camaraderie that may save their lives later.

On the other hand, correctional officers usually go home as the last person they want to see after a 12+hours lockdown with society’s convicted is another ‘bull’ enforcer of the rules.

or, . . . there’s always Japanese Women’s Professional Wrestling as a more sunny career choice for such a ‘force of nature’:

Seen firsthand a Japanese prison guard being handy with his fists here-not at all surprised this happened-be sure a lot more does that doesn’t make it into the news!

Wouldn’t want to rely on her as back up if the inmates kick off, that was just too one sided.

Perhaps they should fire the boss as not up to it and keep her underling!

Isn’t this just “nomication”? I’m sure there was some tension cleared.

I agree it’s the breakdown of society when the bullies turn on each other, why can’t they just focus their violence, bullying on those in their care. I blame Netflix.

A private room to discuss a issue with no witnesses and yet the woman is arrested 11 days after the incident ?

What were they fighting about ?

Glad her boss wasn't a man bcz. we all know what will be the first word to come out of mouth.
