"We cannot attack unless we find new sponsors. Japanese people do not have to worry anymore," a Killnet spokesperson said.

With the ease with which elderly Japanese, with large savings accounts, fall for all kinds of online and religious scams, it would seem it would not be too hard to get money.

Maybe they are ethical hackers.

Ha ha, no surprises that the rubles have run out. Fascist Russia is a basket case and even their online keyboard warriors are deserting them.

Total losers.

Maybe they are ethical hackers.

Or, more likely, they don't know how to speak Japanese.

Do you really believe them ?

Relax. There are 3 possibilities. 1. They were paid off. 2. The Russian state told them to stop because they have something much more serious going on. 3. They are lying.

The bad news is, in a little over an hour, Russia is going to add the territory and population equal to a mid-sized European state. But very valuable territory. Home to most of Ukraine's (for another hour) minerals, industry, power generation and the fabled "black earth" of Ukraine and southern Russia.

The good news is that the Russian military is crumbling and it's economy is in tatters. So are you and @rainyday busy now? Want to get paid US$1000~$2000 a day + bonuses to fight against a weak, starving, largely unarmed army which is little more than cannon fodder for NATO guns?

There it is! What's stopping you?

What do you think the bonuses equal? There were a few ideas. A free Lawson's bento at the end of the 30 day contract period? US$8000 for every Russian or allied soldier killed and US$4000 for every unarmed woman, child or old man? An extra US$2000 per day bonus for every day on the front line to be paid to the contracted at the end of the 30 day contract period? i.e. no bonus.

What do you think?

Now I've taken too long. Less than an hour before Russia gets still bigger but I'm confident you and @rainyday can turn it all around and get paid very well while you are at it.

With no cash in the bank accounts what they gonna do now? got an idea how about answering Putin's call and join the army? they will be serving Russia for about a month before they vanish.

dagon - Maybe they are ethical hackers.

Maybe "hackers with a heart of gold" will replace "hookers with a heart of gold" as a Hollywood trope.

If they have rudimentary carving skills, they could clone hankos and bring the whole country to a standstill.

They should use go fund me so people who want to make an impact against oppression can have their voice.

"Those Western sanctions are having no effect on Russia..." say most Russian online trolls...or at least the ones left after Vlad The Bad's "partial conscription"...

Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Serbia are positively filling up with "patriotic Russians" that waved the Z online, but then chose to run away from Russia when even a whiff of actually participating in a WAR caught up to those keyboard warriors. lol. Well, you ain't seen nothing yet!

These keyboard worriers could serve Putin much better with a rifle at the front lines, good luck with that.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Lol. Japan’s cyber security too hard now or something. Ok, we’re not gonna hack you guys anymore wink wink. Even Russian hackers suck.

Putin colouring in a map with his pencils doesn't make his garden bigger. Otherwise we'd all do it.

Folks, they weren't trying to hack individuals, they were going after govt and large businesses. Grandma wasn't the target.

But since they've run out of sponsors, someone please tell me that sanctions against Russia aren't working when they are, on some level, clearly working.

Not all evil hackers are the same quality. DDoS is the easiest to accomplish. For $200, anyone here can rent a DDoS network that already exists and make life difficult for small-mid sized companies. For $10,000, they can make it difficult for large companies. DDoS happens daily. Heck, right now, lots of Russian servers are being DDoSed from outside locations. Russian Govt decided to vastly restrict internet inbound connections due to DDoS early in their invasion.

Over here, half a world away, gasoline prices are down ($3.15/gal).

Today Russia annexed the territories that liberated from Ukraine...

I think the losers are others.

Ha ha..

Today Russia annexed the territories that liberated from Ukraine...

Regardless of any speech made in Moscow, on the ground in Donbass the Ukraine Army has surrounded the Russian bastion Lyman and is well on their way to forcing the Russians out of the lands they just claimed to annex.

Separately Russian recruits are being required to buy their own medical supplies before leaving for training and eventual combat. The Russian Army is unable to provide adequate medical supplies at the front lines.

@ fighto

They aren't Russian

It helps to actually pay attention to the article details.

Enough already. It’s boring.

They're being drafted to die in Putin's front lines

Or they're running away because they don't want to die

Either way, they can't stay to do their hacking
