Amazing how money just makes people want more. You'd think that these people are rich enough that they could live in luxury for the rest of their lives without doing anything illegal.

Corruption in Korea? Who would have thought it? As usual the response is extreme. and with new anti graft law coming in prosecutors will be given almost carte blanche to investigate and arrest even the most banal matters

My impression of South Korea is raised by this.

This is why the minimum wage should be double. Company owners earning disgusting amount of money on the back of very minimum margin. In the pass the standard margin was around 30%. Today margins are about 10 %. This will be the first generation since the industrial revolution were your off spring will work harder for less then their parents. Now tell me what and were is this profit of billions of yen or dollars used. It just sit in the bank earning maybe 2%. Double the minimum wage and you will see it go straight in to the local economy where it will to best for society.
