Restaurant manager stabs estranged husband in head

Police in Shizuoka on Monday arrested a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder after she stabbed her 53-year-old husband in the head.

According to police, Chieko Shiba attacked her husband Minoru at around 3 a.m. at Bistro Porco, a restaurant that she manages, in Shimizu Ward. Fuji TV reported that Shiba called police and told them she had stabbed her husband.

The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his head and his condition is stable, police said.

Police said that Chieko told them that she and her husband — who lived apart — had gotten into a heated argument before she stabbed him.

Local media quoted Chieko’s neighbors as saying she always left a good impression and was friendly.

Where are all the usual posters crying, "Innocent until proven guilty! You don't know all the facts! You shouldn't speculate!" ?

Or does it only work for certain people...?

Well, consider it said. It could well have been self-defense against a violent attack from her estranged partner.

Talk about getting a head job. This guy did not see it coming ???? Where as he could move out of the way or blocked her arm holding the knife... Perhaps she attacked him when his back was turned towards her. Either way some times it's just better to walk away from an argument and avoid all the drama.

The 3 AM time makes it look like she attacked him in his sleep, as many cowardly murderers do. So far we only have her word that they were in a "heated argument".

Ah the good old

it's the quiet ones you should look out for

It's an attempt of murder, get her ass in jail and he should sue her for every penny she has. Jesus.

So she stabbed him in the head but left a good impression ?

Things are very bad for men in Japan. The cops and media don't even ask them for their side of the story any more.
