Serial foot licker apprehended in Kyoto

By RocketNews24

At approximately midnight on July 23, a woman in her 20s was walking past a parking lot in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, when a man sitting inside his car called out to her, “Could you help me fix my brakes?”

A seemingly innocuous request which the woman obliged, and as the man instructed she climbed into the driver’s seat and began pumping the brake pedal. However, the man suddenly climbed into the driver’s seat floor, removed the woman’s sandals and began licking the soles of her feet – an act that would go on for the next 30 minutes.

Perhaps in shock at what had just happened or out of fear that the man may have a weapon, the woman did not fight back. She did, however, take the opportunity of the man’s preoccupation to get out her smartphone and begin recording the assault.

When he had finally finished, the man said “thank you” and let her go. On her way out, the victim also took note of the man’s license plate number. These pieces of evidence would prove invaluable when she reported the incident to Kyoto Prefectural Police.

On Nov 7, police announced the arrest of a 56-year-old part-time worker suspected of the assault. They also revealed that the man is believed to be connected to six other reported incidents of foot licking assault against women in their 20s that have taken place in the Fushimi area since 2012. They even gave the perverted perpetrator the nickname of “foot-licking man” proving that the Kyoto Police don’t waste time thinking up overly complicated nicknames.

The suspect reportedly denies the charges, saying he “doesn’t remember” committing the crimes.

If you're a young woman walking alone at night, and you are dumb enough to stop when a guy asks you to help fix his brakes, you deserve to get licked. Then you let it go on for 30 minutes? Sounds more like a date than an assault.

You can't make this stuff up,serial foot licker :-}

8 ( +8 / -0 )

How about the "kicker-licker", or "toe-jam man"

1 ( +3 / -2 )

This went on for 30 minutes!

She video recorded it!

He said 'Thank you!' (Did she say 'Doitashimashite!'?)!

Then he gets charged with assault!!!

Um, I noticed something odd here. Did you?

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Shouldn't he be charged with deprecation of liberty as well? Holding her against her will for 30 minutes is a kind of kidnapping.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Kudo to the girl who recorded the incident and license plate, but I hope that becomes more "street smart" in the future. It could have turned out so much worse for her than a simple saliva-drenched foot.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

A lady with a nasty case of athlete's foot may help cure him of his fetish.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Lucky she didn't receive a bill for "organic cleaning of your feet" ! I bet she would if she were a foreigner lol

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Excellent. Licking a bit of toe every now and then is ok, but for 30 minutes?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I get that she might have been in shock, but for 30 minutes? 30 MINUTES? And she had the ability to record it but not the ability to just kick him in the face?

I'm really suspicious. Sounds like this was arranged and the naughty boy didn't want to pay his bill for the service....

So many sexual deviants in Japan....A sign of an advanced culture or demented culture? I think a little of both.

So many sexual deviants in Japan....A sign of an advanced culture or demented culture?

A sign of humanity. There are sexual deviants everywhere.

Although, 'deviant' is a pretty broad word that could really mean anything from 'someone who like sex' to a necrophiliac, depending on the background of the speaker, and therefore pretty much meaningless.

At least he didn't hurt the woman, unless she now gets smelly feet. People have some strange Fetishes.

At least he didn't hurt the woman,

Maybe not physically, but physical wounds heal faster than emotional ones.

You let a stranger to lick your feet for 30 min and then go to the police? Jesus...

You let a stranger to lick your feet for 30 min and then go to the police? Jesus...

So she should just let the assault go unreported? Great advice there Jim.

Did the CSI people check his tongue for foot prints? This guy sounds like a recently fired salaryman who cannot live without being a boot licker. However, he may be working on a new career as a counselor: helping women bare their soles.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Does he lick between her toes or just the soles of her feet? It must be a strange feeling of being tickled and scared to death. The could just hire guys like him at aromatherapy and reflexology salons where he would offer to work for free.

Japan is a safe country. Instead of getting bashed, you cop a good licking!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

At least no need for a foot spa or scrubbing off dead skin full of fungi! Yaikks!! Unless the licking is between her legs!

0 ( +1 / -1 )

America is having problems with boot lickers recently, but foot licking? Sounds... slippery.

People are focusing on the deviance part here. I could not care less. What concerns me is that people are being assaulted..... forced into sexual contact without consent. OK? There is the crime. As far as I am concerned, if the guy is tickling them with a feather, he still needs an ASBO.

“Could you help me fix my brakes?”

What a weird thing to ask a woman in her 20s, at midnight :) !? Even as a bloke in the wrong side of 40yo i would have smelt a rat but not our 20 something J girl apparently, naaaa!!!

When I first read the title I though Resident Evil licker.

apart from getting your feet licked, groped on the train, photos taken up your skirt, your knickers stolen from the clothes line, getting doused in pee, the occasional stabbing / slashing, or random female body parts scattered about..............Japan is a relatively safe place for women!?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I bet if the man were well-heeled and bared his sole to her she'd be head over heels in love. Pity it had her on the back foot the whole time - he should learn to toe the line.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

At least she made a clean getaway! ...30 min of licking....ha ha

Those of you doing the old blame-the-victim act ever think maybe she was too afraid to bolt?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Those of you doing the old blame-the-victim act ever think maybe she was too afraid to bolt? well she certainly wasnt afraid to get into a strangers car, or it may just have been stupidity

2 ( +3 / -1 )

well she certainly wasnt afraid to get into a strangers car, or it may just have been stupidity

Well, then it's her fault, isn't it.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Yay, Blame the victim time... did you read the article?

Perhaps in shock at what had just happened or out of fear that the man may have a weapon, the woman did not fight back. She did, however, take the opportunity of the man’s preoccupation to get out her smartphone and begin recording the assault.

Fighting back can get you killed. She was naive yes, but to call her stupid? What would you have done? Told him to sod off without knowing he was foot licking freak?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I just find it odd that on the one hand, she felt too threatened to stop him or run away, but she wasn't afraid of filming him. But then again, there are six other reported incidents of foot licking assaults in the area, so I guess he must be a creep. Wonder if the other 6 women can ID him.

Does he lick between her toes or just the soles of her feet?

If it lasted 30min, he was probably quite thorough. It takes me less than 5 seconds to lick my fingers when I eat KFC...

As another poster mentioned this sounds like a fuuzoku encounter that ended up with the police when the customer didn't have money to pay the bill. This story sounds like nonsense.

Man, why did I have to click on this while eating dinner?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

And freak of the day award goes to....

Didn't her feet smell?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He puts one foot before the other.

This guy could have gotten himself a job at a foot massage parlor. He could have offered free foot licks after the massage instead of doing this.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

I'm impressed that she had the presence of mind to take pictures during the ordeal.

I guess you could say...she can take a licking and keep on clicking.

If you have never had it done to you, refrain from saying gross. It is actually quite enjoyable.

It tickles!

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Thanks, Stranger :)

2 ( +2 / -0 )

He's right.

I didn't think I was super kinky but reading some comments here makes me feel like a real "sexual deviant.

Actually, the foot fetish is the most common fetish out there. So common, in fact, that it really should be considered mainstream.

The aim of this study was to estimate the relative frequency of Fetishes in a large sample of individuals. Using the Internet as a data source, we examined 381 discussion groups. We estimate, very conservatively, that at least 5000 individuals were targeted. The relative frequency of each preference category was estimated considering (a) the number of groups devoted to the category, (b) the number of individuals participating in the groups and (c) the number of messages exchanged. The three measures agree both parametrically (Cronbach's alpha=0.91) and non-parametrically (Kendall's W=0.94, P<0.01). Preferences for body parts or features and for objects usually associated with the body were most common (33 and 30%, respectively), followed by preferences for other people's behavior (18%), own behavior (7%), social behavior (7%) and objects unrelated to the body (5%). Feet and objects associated with feet were the most common target of preferences. These findings provide the first large database in an area, where the knowledge is particularly scarce.
