Severed head, two legs of cat found in Tochigi park

The severed head and two legs of a cat were found in a park in Nasukarasuyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, last month, police said Wednesday.

The grisly find was made by a man who was jogging in Ooke Sports Park on Sept 20, Sankei Shimbun reported.

Police also said that 1,100 fish in the park's pond had been found dead on Oct 1. An analysis of the water showed traces of chlorine.

The park said it has installed more surveillance cameras to beef up security.

"The park... has installed more surveillance cameras"

Reminds me of a novel I recently read with cat killings, Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. In it there's also a scene of thousands of fishes raining down from the sky. Good novel, though I would hate it if some sicko trying to relive the scene in real life...

Must have laced the bait with something, otherwise I hope the cat would have clawed his eyes out.

To the Police. Please make some effort to catch this creep!

Boy "A" started off his atrocities like this. Then as he grew, he eventually sawed off the heads of elementary students & placing the head @ school's entrance.

This is absolutely sickening. Animal cruelty is wrong. This is the first sign of a mental disease that does not stop from violence against humans too. It is a symptom of a profound disturbance. There is a connection between between animal abuse and criminal violence. Murderers often start out as children to kill or torture animals. These cold blooded people need professional help.

No is no way they cannot catch this person or these people. When they do, if they bother to put in the effort, I hope they put the person in a prison with a general population... for a very, very long time.
