A 61-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at a bookshop in Sapporo on Sunday. Police said the suspect sprayed a security guard before fleeing. The security guard suffered minor injuries to his face, police said.
According to police, an employee of the bookshop spotted Toshio Sunaba shoplifting. He informed a security guard. Sunaba sprayed an unidentified substance at the guard and ran off but the guard gave chase and apprehended him.

Um...what bookshop?

What is it with the senior citizens shoplifting? It has been an ever growing phenomenon over the past few years and judging from the number of reports we get from the media they are not very good at it. I implore everyone to sit down with their grandparents and have a talk with them that stealing is bad! ;)

JT please be more specific with this story. What was this spray? Was the suspect also 'unemployed DODO' or just lost his marbles. Hope that cop wasn't sprayed with perfume, because this will cause a huge trouble to cop if he was married. 'HONESTLY JT THIS IS VERY POOR STORY, WITHOUT NECK AND TAIL.'

It's like posting "A man arrested after doing something to a security guard in a book store." Just leaves you saying, uh....
