He's just an accountant who was forced to cook the books by his superiors. They need to prosecute the higher-ups who ordered him to do it.

"It's extremely regrettable. We already have supporters expressing their frustration," said Makoto Nishida, secretary general of Komeito.

This would be an excellent time for Komeito to sever their partnership with Jiminto. The only decent initiatives enacted in recent years by Jiminto that actually helped regular citizens were originally initiated by Komeito.

Now that LDP is no longer the majority, Komeito can join a coalition of parties more focused on regular working citizens and not the rich and powerful. They no longer need Jiminto.

There is no way that only accounting officer dogmatically continues slush fundraising.

But, present attorney general was given its position by LDP regime, therefore, who prosecutors prosecute are only underling person, shamefully overlook most of slush-fundraising politicians.

This country continues to be corrupted bottomlessly.
