The frenetic pace of urban life in a modern, technological society takes its inexorable toll on the many minions who struggle to survive at the lower end of society's totem pole. The weakest ones are crushed, wither or snap, sometimes resulting in violent death, such as suicide or murder. The Moloch of our mass society must be fed with fresh victims. Father forgive them, as Jesus would say!

Interesting point until you brought jesus into it. The 11th commandment should be, keep thy religion to thy self. I will watch this case with interest to see what his psychological evaluation is. RIP to all victims.

@KWBO

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, but the last sentence was not meant to endorse the Christian religion, but rather to express my personal belief that the human animal has little self-knowledge and self-control, free will being just beyond our grasp. I quoted the well-known words from the cross just to serve as short-hand for the nature of our mortal limitations succinctly illuminated by Shakespeare: "as flies to wanton boys are we to the gods. They kill us for their sport".

@Us reamer, I guess you don't understand the impact on lives from case and effect.

I don't know anything about this particular case, but everybody knows that violence resulting in death (murder) is peculiar to our homicidal primate species. It goes without saying that ALL involved in this particularly tragic slaying are deserving of the public's sympathy.

He's probably going to get the death sentence
