Disillusioned is right. His parents will bow and apologize, then pay her medical bills and "gomenasai" money. He'll walk away with a smirk thinking, "I still have time to do this one more time"

I hope she will overcome this traumatizing ordeal and justice will be served to this coward.

It's disappointing this loser will be tried as a minor and will receive nothing more than a strong warning. He's not even liable to pay her hospital bills for any reconstructive surgery she may need. Just another cowardly punk product of the 'no consequences generation' in Japan.
