About 100 cell phones were stolen from a cell phone outlet in Tsurugashima City early Thursday morning. Police said they were worth about 5 million yen in total and all were NTT DoCoMo phones.
Police said a security firm was alerted to the intrusion just after 3.30 a.m. when sensors inside the store were activated. The firm called police who then rushed to the scene and found the store’s front door had been forced open with an instrument similar to a crowbar.
Police are searching for several men who were recorded by in-store security cameras.© News reports
