Tires on more than 110 cars, including public vehicles parked at city halls and government-run institutions, have been slashed in Ibaraki Prefecture since March, police have revealed.

According to police, an employee at the Ibaraki Prefectural Animal Training Center in Kasama city found five public vehicles with punctured tires at around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Fuji TV reported. All tires had holes apparently made by a sharp object, police said.

The incident is the latest in a series of similar cases happening within the prefecture. Since March, police said more than 30 public vehicles parked at local city halls and 80 cars in residential areas in Ibaraki’s Tsukuba and Kasama cities were found with slashed tires.

When they catch the perp, he/she usually confesses to frustration and needing to take it out on something.

That tells me that the perp has a beef with the gov or civil servants.
