Tochigi man busted for stealing school girls' uniforms, underwear in 3 prefectures

Ibaraki police said Thursday they have arrested a Tochigi man for allegedly breaking into girls’ high schools in three prefectures and stealing underwear and school uniforms.

According to a report on TV Asahi, the thief’s three-year spree covered Ibaraki, Tochigi and Saitama prefectures. Police said the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Hiroki Hosojima, may have stolen as many as 1,500 separate clothing items.

Police arrested Hosojima in connection with a school break-in last May and discovered the stolen items at his home over the course of their investigation.

Glad he is caught, students must be relieved

why steal when you can just find a vending machine that sells "used" panties? oops, this might be off-topic.

Im sick of reading posts promoting and defending sexual behavior with or towards children. I know it will be the same old rehash of the same specious arguments that:

1)Their behaviour is not harmful or is less serious than claimed. 2)That the child was sexually provocative and encouraged/initiated the act. 3)That they are being helpful to the child and are contributing to the child’s development. 4)That the acts had educational value. 5)That they are teaching the child about the “facts of life” or “love”. 6)That the child enjoyed the acts or attention.

Have I missed anything out Chewitup?

Im glad he was caught and I hope that he had not gone further than this sad act of stealing clothes. Poor girls, they must be so freaked out to know that some pervert stole their undies.

Another loser stealing girls' panties... and 1500 pieces for that matter! I'm with goingoingone on this one: it's sick that people defend people who commit crimes like these and even sicker when they defend worse. It's no wonder so many continue to commit these crimes when they have a swath of society as apologists and who even blame the victim.

% of people who commit serious sex crimes do have an evolution the begins with theft of undergarments. Many countries use Data bases of these offenders precisely because a high %. Of offenders DO crop up again in connection with more serious offending.

MAN you hit the nail right on the head...this is the core mentality problem here...and the hatred for any kind of criticism...especially accurate criticism......and that why decline is increasing-ignore that!

I have to wonder, if he were legally allowed to date a HS student, would he have not done this?

He can legally date a HS student, he just can't have sex with that student. But somehow I doubt that's a good idea - what good is going to come from a 24 year old dating a 16 year old?

Where is the standard photo with all the items lined up?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

@ExportExpert- it wouldn't be the same. A fetish is very exact.

Why do girls leave their underwear in high-school for?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

i really despise men like the one featured in this article. it sickens me that he got away with it for THREE YEARS before getting arrested. oh well... i just hope he gets his comeuppance

@Pawatan

what good is going to come from a 24 year old dating a 16 year old? My parents have an 8-year age gap

OT: I personally think it's terrible he got away with it for three years before he was caught.

Jeezzzz,That's takin'"Panty-Raids to the Max!

Maybe these are boarding schools?

It's all part of the Japanese culture..

0 ( +1 / -1 )

How's this, senor: this is a culture in which the packaging is often more important than what's inside. These guys have no interest in "normal" sexual relations (which begs the question: which came first?).

I don't understand how people can get off on someone else's dirty undies

Thanks ben4short, muchas gracias! I wonder if I can start wearing high school girls underwear and after they are dirty, put them up on the Japanese Ebay?? Tell all the hentais out there that they were once used by some young cuties, but actually it my fat old butt?? and get lots of $$$$ for it?? (sarcasm amigos, sarcasm)

@Elbuda and Ben4short:

It doesn't matter if the underwear was clean, dirty, or brand new. What matters is this guy was breaking and entering, and stealing other peoples' property. Personal sexual behaviorism or preferences are beside the point. There are "weird" fetishes anywhere you go in the world, but most people keep it to themselves. Underwear in general does absolutely nothing for me, whether clean, dirty, or whatever.... it's just underwear, and I prefer actual warm-bodied women. Besides, who said the underwear was dirty anyway? Maybe they have washing machines and were cleaned and hanging to dry? Why the fixation on this?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Tahooch, not sure why you threw me into the underwear wash discussion, since I was merely pointing out an unrelated facet of this fetish to el hombre, a fetish that seems more prevalent in Japan than elsewhere. I'm with you . . . the stuff means nothing to me. I prefer that my women don't wear any.

Arnt there vending machines for girls panties in like tokyo or something?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Strange. Yet understandable.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Hasn't he ever heard of Kabukicho?

If school items went missing don't you think that after10 or so went missing from a school that they would set up surveillance?

-1 ( +4 / -4 )

I really really like women's sexy panties but used?? Stinky?? Dirty?? I don't get what would be attractive about dirty stained undies even if I had a fetish for Japanese high school girls. Can somebody explain???

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Hmmmmm, wait a minute

Underwear ? Used underwear ? New underwear ? stored at high schools ?

Highschools sell underwear ?

Why would high schools have underwear storage area ?

Japan Today please explain this weird story. Why would schools keep new underwear, used underwear, unwashed underwear, and etc. ? Why ?

In America, only really nasty, gross, and dirty girls would leave underwear behind in an locker or thrown out in the school lawn.

Highschool girls have accidents ???

****24 years old and this strange! LOCK THIS GUY UP!! He can only escalate to stranger crimes! This young man is sick!!

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

If he wants to see girls panties he should go to a strip club there is plenty of them in tokyo, or buy some form a vending machine.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

He can only escalate to stranger crimes!

After three years of this, I doubt it.

I have to wonder, if he were legally allowed to date a HS student, would he have not done this?

Oh well. No matter what anyone says, it is surely a crime, but its a pretty harmless one. But, of course, in the rush to outrage, we have gateway drug theory trotted out already.
