Police in Fukuoka have arrested three people over the drowning death of a 72-year-old man on Aug 17.
Police said Chiaki Takada, 55, Kumiko Takahashi, 43, two unemployed residents of Fukuoka, as well as Ryo Yamaguchi, 29, an unemployed resident of Imari, Saga Prefecture, have been charged over the murder of Toshinobu Morinaga, a resident of Nishi Ward in Fukuoka.
According to police, at around 11:30 p.m. on Aug 17, the three suspects were seen arguing with Morinaga in front of JR Meinohama station, TBS reported Friday. Street surveillance camera footage showed the four getting into a taxi.
On the morning of Aug 18, Morinaga's body was found floating in the Muromi River about one kilometer away from the station. Police said an autopsy showed he had drowned.

Good luck making those charges stick. If they keep their mouths shut, there's no way to prove they did it (assuming they did).

But all THREE of them have to keep their mouths shut. What is likelihood of that?

I wouldn't take any bets.

At least one of them will "confess".

They will be tortured until they confess. That's whether they are guilty or not.

They will be forced to confess whether they are guilty or not.

In the past, innocent people have been forced into confessing by the police. It could happen here. Let's get some camera in there.

There were WITNESESS who saw them arguing a nd CAMERA FOOTAGE of them getting into a taxi, and most likely that taxi also has cameras, and the driver can be summoned to help in this case, so now it is just a PUZZLE, time to put all the pieces together and these 3 idiot fools should get convicted of MURDER!!

If they are guilty, of course. But I hope police do a better job of relying on evidence. Interrogations should be filmed.

But what if he was drunk and fell into the river by himself?

Karma is a bitch. They guilty shall pay.
