Truck driver arrested for taking photos up skirts of school girls

Police on Thursday arrested a truck driver for violation of the prefectural nuisance prevention laws after he was caught taking photos up two high school girls' skirts with his mobile phone camera. According to police, Ryuichiro Hayashi, 25, a resident of Shimane Prefecture, admitted to the charge. He was quoted as saying: "I got excited when I saw the girls and couldn't resist taking photos."

Hayashi is accused of taking photos up the skirts of two third-year high school students at a convenience store in the town of Omachi at around 8 a.m. on Thursday. A store clerk thought Hayashi's behavior was suspicious, and after he left the store, the clerk and store owner checked the security cameras and saw Hayashi snapping photos. They then called the local police.

Hayashi was on his way to Nagasaki Prefecture. When police arrived, he was sitting in his truck in the parking lot of the convenience store.

The Japanese community should make a law to have all the males wear short skirts too so they wouldn't have this problem of getting excited, HA!

... probably with his pants down.

What kind of an excuse is "I got excited when I saw the girls and couldn’t resist taking photos"? You could have resisted, you just didn't want to.

I love reading the excuses the arrested people give.

"I got excited when I saw the girls and couldn't resust taking photos"

Brilliant.

Is it me or are the lengths of schoolgirls' skirts in Japan much shorter than elsewhere? Little wonder this fellow got excited. He probably dropped some shopping and accidentally pressed the 'take photo button' on his phone several times as he picked up his shopping all simultaneously of course.

BritAsianinJap - I've heard that some of the girls hike/roll their skirts up before/after school because that's the "fashion". I think it also depends on the school, because in some places the girls have somewhat longer skirts.

And you're probably right about that guy's "accident". Seriously, how do you do something like that and try to make it NOT look suspicious? How do you expect to get away with it?

hadn't pulled out yet?

dasyhard: "The Japanese community should make a law to have all the males wear short skirts too so they wouldn't have this problem of getting excited, HA!"

Are you kidding? Some would love it! And they already make kindergarten boys go to school in their underwear -- or just ultra-tight, short little skivvy-looking like things.

Anyway, why don't these guys just buy a porno mag or something? I mean, come on.

These girls put men into risk intentionaly by pulling their skirts above their knees or sitting with their legs wide apart. When such incident happens they believe they are really beatiful. This guyz life has been turned completely upsidedown=lose job, then Adress, shunned?

These Japanese dudes need to learn that their temptations evolved from "Adam and Eve" and what the outcome resulted in. Especially those who have occupations with the public eyes. Evidently, they know their risking the repercussions by not having any RED FLAG instilled in them. What a waste to have their reputation or jobs lost (which they worked so hard for) just for a brief orgasm or jollies.

make skirts longer or let them wear trousers... -the end

no seriousley... in some places the skirts are way to short... and if the girls are not kids anymore I can understand why men cant help but looking at them. Taking pictures is something else though...

I've read "I couldn't resist" word for word on this site so many times I've lost count. Another gem is: "I was drunk". Some wily old foxes even combine the two.

Is "I couldn't resist" just a bad translation from Japanese, or is it some kind of stock excuse which is indoctrinated into Japanese men in the education system?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

If the skirts were any shorter, they'd be called BELTS! A little modesty on the girls' part would go a long way in preventing such situations. Is he right to snap an upskirt? NO! Eve indeed tempted Adam with an apple. And so do girls who wear provocative clothing. It's no wonder this happens! And buying smut mags only adds fuel to the fire. I'm no prude, but both parties are at least partially to blame.

these type of guys never learn

0 ( +0 / -0 )

They roll the skirts up as they progress through High School. I think they look great. Sailor Moon Goko

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The uniforms for the school where I teach are dresses. You can't roll them up! I heard from a friend that some girls actually use their sewing skills to raise the hems.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Girls shouldn't be presenting themselves like that, no. They obviously want attention, otherwise they wouldn't bother. There are girls like that all around the world. But still, this does not give men a free ticket out just by saying, 'oh, well she was wearing skimpy clothing, so it's not my fault'. Men like this need to learn to respect women and not think they are free to invade their privacy like this scum bag did. The key here is self control. Most men know how to keep their hands (and their cameras) to themselves when confronted with similar situations. This guy has no excuse. And women like the girls who do hike their skirts up (not necessarily the victims here, because it's not fair to assume) need to realize that they aren't attracting the right kind of attention. Expressing yourself is one thing, but parading yourself like the object that sleazes like this guy crave is really not doing you or the rest of the female species any favors.

I personally blame the perverted head teachers/policy makers. I am sure they enjoy the sight of all the young women walking around like that (ass and panties clearly visible at times)...

Why don't they allow girls to wear trousers and be done with it?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It would be nice if they were given the choice to wear one or the other-- skirt or pants. I always feel bad for the girls riding their bikes home on a windy day. Though unless they're making a special effort for their underwear to be seen (a.k.a rolling them up...), I think most uniforms are actually modest.

But anyway, I doubt they'd allow for trousers somehow. Too many guys like Mr. Hayashi who, while not taking pictures up girls skirts, would fight the change in wardrobe.

Girls doing the rolling and the guy doing the filming/snapping are both wrong.

I am a fairly normal bloke, but it is hard to avoid looking at some of these girls. That said, I am still a long way off trying to film these things, Then again unlike most Jp guys my age, I can use the Internet for my "hobbies."

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I'm with bqaudry. If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse (not that some of these girls make it difficult!) fair enough. But to go out of your way to film is crossing the line.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Men like this need to learn to respect women and not think they are free to invade their privacy like this scum bag did.

Looking at it from the other side, these girls should have respect for themselves and not strut around with tiny little skirts. Taking upskirt pictures is never okay, but how many people here have been accidentally flashed at one time or another? They're forgoing their privacy in the name of "fashion".

If high school girls don't want to show it off then they shouldn't show it off.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Dumb as all hell to snap away at these girls but if it's on display you might as well stare a hole through whatever's hot. No, really! Who the hell says that it's okay for those little tramps to dress up like that? Why not ticket and tow their little whoring tart arses into court and say that they are part of the problem. If I drive a hot car I would expect to be stared at. I ride my bike in tight shorts (I don't so don't get excited) and I was to have 'things' bulging ready to bust loose I would expect to get stared at. But the big difference is the age and I'd get a ticket for 'package flaunting' for sure but why not the young tarts?

Damn, this dude caught a bum rap.

stock phrase in the language

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Another day, another perv. Japan is full of them.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I would blame the pervert that created Japanese school girl uniform instead of the guy taking pics. Seriously. I'm sure that was a man...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I'm sure that was a man... and an abnormal one at that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I saw a hs girl walking to school carrying her bag over her shoulder. The bag was pulling up the rear, left side of her skirt and it was all ass. Was I wrong to take a photo? It wasn't up upskirt-shot per se...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So the convenience store filmed the man filming the girls. Technology against technology. A sign of the times.

At least the guy was not driving his truck while taking photos... and btw whatever happened to that JR train driver?...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I never blame guys who take photos but always blame those short skirt girls.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Just because a young girl prefers to walk around with her ass hanging out of her pants doesn't mean some twisted perve has the right to take photos of it. There are two or three of these cases appearing in this newspaper alone every month and these are only the ones that caught. There must be thousands more of these perverts running around waiting for a chance to take photos.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Who cares, another day another upskirt photo taker. That said some of these girls certainly are trying to show as much as possible and bear at least some of the blame.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Can't really blame him. He's at the peak of production age and being on the road all day can be really boring.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Another Day another Perv...can't change these people, it's part of who they are - "look! Some cute things, gotta snap a pic..PEACE." "Look! underage girl in short skirt, I wonder if she does enko?!?!?" I think they make kids in Japan memorize those phrases for when they become adults.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Who the hell says that it's okay for those little tramps to dress up like that? Why not ticket and tow their little whoring tart arses into court and say that they are part of the problem<

Good point. After all, it takes two to tango.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

would much prefer everything this way than the burqa!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

There is no proof that he took these photos. It is only an accusation. He will beat it in court, hopefully. Men need to keep our place.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

they filmed him doing it. There's proof. Also, both are to blame, the girls and the perv.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

My thing is no one is to blame - it's part of Japanese society. Japanese girls like looking cute. Japanese men like looking at Cute girls....circle of life!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So what else is new? Always some perv looking up little girl's skirts. And why is it that these guys always want to look up little girl's skirts? Aren't there any Japanese men that are attracted to grown women? No wonder there are so many single women in Japan. Once a girl passes 16 in Japan, she's an old maid.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The girls are not to blame here--they did nothing wrong. (although I do agree that those school-girl skirts are sexist!) Looking at a cute girl in a skirt is one thing but taking a picture up her skirt is quite another!! The guy violated them (allegedly) and he should be dealt with accordingly.

The problem is that sexuality is repressed in Japan so instead of finding a healthy way of expressing or releasing this energy, some people have to resort to deviant behavior. (like groping women on trains or stealing their panties!) Men and women need to be able to express their sexuality in socially acceptable ways.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The Up-skirt photo-takers are really sick minds. Yes, girls these days tend to dress them lightly, so what. Well, sickos, you may take a look and be delighted by what you see, but taking a picture up-skirt is just ridiculous..

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Bring back those high white stockings so men don't get excited.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

You would think that with all the FREE porn out there all over the internet, that this fruitcake would get his fill! Why risk getting your ass thrown in jail taking grainy photos of some schoolgirl's panties!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The fact that some people here are saying "Who the hell says that it's okay for those little tramps to dress up like that?" and that their little "whoring tart arses" should be ticketed, absolutely repulses me.

Just because some perverted man can't keep his camera (and who knows what else) in his pants and away from teenage girls skirts, it should not be the fault of a teenage girl.

Who the hell says that it's not okay for those girls to dress that way. Do you want to start making them wear ankle length skirts to school, hey, let's not stop there, because someone might find their hair erotic, let's get them to cover up their hair. Mmmm, their faces might entice some men, so let's cover them up entirely. We do not live in a country where women's freedom of dress is repressed by religion, and neither should it be restricted because perverts are unable to stop lusting over teenage girls in short skirts.

I would totally give this guy a high five and giggle if I was in the store.
