I think that Turkey and a few other countries are just going through the motions to show Japan that something is being done.

LOL. You give Japan way more importance than it actually holds. Every country is prosecuting within their own jurisdictions based on their own laws.

Why shouldn’t the pilots get bail?

Turkey is showing that it’s judiciary is civilized and progressive unlike autocratic countries that imprison without trial and force confessions.

The only one complaining is Japan with egg on its face!

Do you even bother to read an article before posting? The pilots did get bail. And Japan is not "complaining" about anything.

If you dont keep them I jail they will escape and disappear. This has been predicted and prepared and a lot of money paid to cheap Turkish politicians to allow this to happen.

So these defendants are out on bail in Turkey under Turkish law awaiting their day in Court. Too bad they can't get the Taylors to smuggle them out of Turkey.

Bailed out.

Same will hapoen with the 2 men in USA who helped Goshn.

LOL. Right, the Mass Court is going to grant bail to two experts in bail jumping.

Who will star the unfairly prosecuted gaijin ?

The U.S, the Turkish, and possibly the Lebanese Prosecutors have to do something Just to Appease the Japanese prosecutors office, and not to look like a bunch of outlaws.

This case is dead, and Japan could care less about it except for some DIE HARD one who's necks are on the line.

I hope that their passports were taken. Otherwise, there’s not really much point in banning them from leaving Turkey.

Does anyone really care anymore?

And remember this well-known saying "You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide".

which sadly isn't the case if the Japanese establishment has decided to out you out of the picture.

The Ghosn case is an international embarrassment for the Japanese govt. and judicial system. I hope justice be served to those who helped him escape.

And remember this well-known saying "You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide".
