A 62-year-old man and his 57-year-old brother were found dead in their apartment in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, on Wednesday night. Police said the younger brother seems to have killed his elder brother and then committed suicide.
Noyubuki Isshiki, 62, and his brother Tatsuro, 57, were found dead by police and city officials around 7:30 p.m. after the apartment owner reported that he had been unable to contact the tenants for a few days.
Nobuyuki was found lying on a futon and Tatsuro in the bathroom. Police also found bloodstains at the entrance and on a baseball bat, along with human hair.

alcohol.

bobbafett - I don't know. Said they found blood at the entrance. If old boy was drunk, he would not have been able to wait for him to bash him when he came in, if that is what happened.

A girl murdered in the bush, dead elderly brothers.
Matsuyama has always been known as 'sumi-yasui'. A shame.

Should Japan ban 'baseball bats'? Where they also unemployed? At least one of them will not have to face court and all the judiciary crap. Hope that they are not both together upstairs. Perhaps one is downstairs and the other one upstairs. Any booze involved? Cops are not saying much; because there is no one top tell the story for life in jail or hanging. Does economy have to do with that?

The entrance is also the exit, right? So the one guy could have been trying to escape, which makes the alcohol theory a lot more plausible. Drinking together, get into an argument, younger bro pulls out a bat, chases older bro around while swinging away....
