Two women stole two rings worth 16.2 million yen from a jewelry store in Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, on Sunday.
According to police, the two women entered the Estelle store in a shopping mall at around 3:30 p.m. and were being shown a range of rings, TV Asahi reported. When staff left the women to attend to other customers, the pair left the store. Staff realized that the rings were missing and alerted the police.
Police are on the lookout for the women, who they described as being "Southeast Asian in appearance."© Japan Today
