How can any branch of the Yamaguchi-gumi be a newcomer?

@sensei258 Who knows? New to the states?

I met a yak in a hot spring a few years ago. He wasn't even trying to hide his tats. Anyway, it was just the two of us so I struck up a conversation with him. Turns out the yaks are having "tough times" - business is bad. Was I supposed to feel bad for him?

Anyway, put the squeeze on them!

Maybe newcomer meant newcomer to USA?

It's not a branch, it's a new group. You know how original Japanese groups are with names; this group made a big fuss about breaking off from the Yamaguchi-gumi, then took their name and slapped at "Kobe" on the front. It's like when political parties, pretty much the same thing, I know, break off from the main group and call themselves the "New (old name) Party".

it says uses legitimate businesses to launder money.

Don't worry, soon casinos will bring more opportunities to launder money.

Last time, USTreasury created Prohibition Era in USA. It is. more powerful than FBI. When FBI could not cTch Al Capone, Treasury caught. It might be thinking Japan is US territory.

Toshiko

They are talking about assets etc INSIDE the US or trade between the 2

@GW:thanks. I thought Treasury will treat Japan like it did to Sicily. There are many different banks in USA. In US, each state behaves differently. Must be easier to check entire Japan than fifty states.

Amateurs. Everyone knows you keep your offshore funds in Nevis, not the USA :D
