Police in Tokyo have arrested a 22-year-old university student on suspicion of allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old elementary school girl at an apartment building in September.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 8:50 p.m. on Sept 27 at the building in Koto Ward, Kyodo News reported.

Police said Yuto Date, a fourth-year student at Toyo University, is accused of groping the breasts of the girl at the entrance of her apartment building. Police said Date followed the girl home and asked her where the train station was, to get her attention.

Police said Date has admitted to the allegations and quoted him as saying, “I couldn’t control my sexual urges.”

He could not control himself, and that is the problem as it could happen again once released

Castrate him.

I know certain countries would make sure he cannot use his hands to traumatize little girls or women again in his life. Or anything else for that matter. Utterly disgusting!

Also, with the amount of attacks like these on innocent little girls, one would expect law makers to turn BOTH EYES on this matter and enforce a 10+ year prison sentence AND name on a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER LIST. But as they see it, its more improtant to make more important laws like :

It is a crime to damage, remove, or deface the flag or other national emblem of a foreign country with the intent to cause insult to that country. The statutory penalty is imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to 200,000 yen (Penal Code Article 92, Paragraph 1). However, damaging the Japanese flag is not against the law.

Are you under the impression that there is an overseer of equality and fairness out there, that makes sure that all things are equal all at once?

My parents fortunately did me a service and taught me that life isn't fair, and that two entirely irrelevant things, like the law regarding rape and the law regarding flags, have absolutely nothing to do with each other, and therefore may not seem fair when analyzed in the context of those two things.

Knowing the Japanese authorities penchant for ‘massaging’ statistics in support of the tatemae vision splendid, being honest and proactive in dealing with these matters is the very last thing that you should expect them to countenance. They simply don’t want to know, almost as much as they don’t want YOU to know.

What a sickening jerk ... You can't control yourself? You're so lame and pathetic.

It's so head-blowing how so many Japanese guys are attracted to young girls...

On a side note, what was an 11-year-old girl doing outside at 8:50pm?

What are her parents doing?

Hm.. what happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

I thought you were an advocate of not judging people before they have their day in court?

Or am I confusing you with someone else?

These are all allegations and we do not have the full story.

Innocent unless proven guilty.

CASTRATE HIM.

@painkiller

Date has admitted to the allegations

castration should be second offense.

If you read the article as I did, the snide remark wouldn't be.

So because he "couldn't control his urges", that elementary school child will now have to suffer the consequences, i.e. the trauma of being sexually assaulted as a child.

That experience does not ever leave you. I speak as someone who experienced sexual assault as an elementary school student, too, by an older man whom I should have been able to trust.

There's only one solution to a situation like this, where an adult thinks the excuse of "I couldn't control myself" is a reasonable one (in any context, let alone when the victim is a child): cut off his bits. Yup, get rid of them. He'll never hurt a child ever again, and he also won't need to worry about his urges anymore. Sick pig.

The poor 11 year old girl must be so traumatised, poor girl, I am sure she will have night mares over this senseless attack, as for punishment, well chuck him in the local womans prison, he can grope as much as he wants, (if he survives a week)

Complete surgical castration for him, please. Then 10 years in prison.

Except he admitted it. It's fairly safe to say he's guilty.

Probably not the FIRST TIME. This predator may have committed this act on many other "young girls" perhaps he targeted them because they probably wouldn't report it or tell anyone"

Another perv day, reasons have been analyzed into the minuscule details.

Why would it change if no change ?

Still, it is good to hear such story if it is the worst that was happening, although about that I am not sure.

Also, don't overcomment by saying she is got a trauma because she was groped since we know nothing about the details, and due respect to the victim.

Probably what any 11-year-old might be doing at the reasonable hour of 8:50pm.

What are her parents doing?

Probably what any parents of an 11-year-old who is out doing what any 11-year-old might be doing at the reasonable hour of 8:50pm would be doing.

Oh, I see. So if the person admits the allegations, then it's okay to condemn them. But if they say "I was drunk and don't remember" or stay quiet, or make another excuse, even in face of evidence and eye witness accounts that they did it, then it's not okay to condemn them no matter how strong the evidence is.

Got it, I will remember that.

Oh my goodness gracious! The difference is he admitted AND confessed. If someone claims they don't remember, then more investigations are needed. I'm done with this conversation.

your solution is to put him in with MORE women…….why? So he can do more groping?

Who do you think is waiting in the prisons? Rhea Ripley, Sadako and the Bride of Chucky?

no…..

lock him in a room with the girl’s father, brother, cousins and uncles for an hour. That might change his attitude.
