A male university student has been arrested for posting on Twitter that he had planted bombs at a movie theater in Tokyo.
Police identified the suspect as Fumiya Otaki, a 22-year-old student who resides in Shibata, Niigata Prefecture, Fuji TV reported. According to police, Otaki tweeted “I have planted bombs all over the floor" to a movie theater in Shinjuku Ward in March. Police searched the theater, but no bombs were found.
At the time, the theater was planning to screen "Precure," a very popular anime among young girls, two days after the tweet was received. Otaki was quoted by police as saying “I love this anime, but as I was looking at the characters in the anime, I started to get jealous over how positive the characters are.”
Police said Otaki has admitted to sending the tweet and has been charged with obstruction of business operations.

Aha. Sounds like he is an anime-otaku or animaniac, if you will. I know somehow what computer geeks feel. But when it comes to anime-otakus, they're beyond my comprehension. Let alone the otaku this time.

Kinda reminds me of an old Furuhata Ninzaburō episode in which a bomb expert who taught at a university decided to bomb a Ferris Wheel in a amusement park because it blocked the view of a university watchtower he liked. The only time in which Furahata-san assualted (heck, he "bitchslapped" the bitch!) a suspect in the series!

i suggest that the suspect might send to the mental hospital, maybe he had psychological disorder, his reason is not be accepted as a normal person, just only for an anime, my goodness! thats stupidity!
