Police in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, are looking for a man who attacked a female university student with a knife and stole her bag containing 10,000 yen in cash.
According to police, the woman was walking home at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday about 500 meters from JR Utsunomiya Station when a man came up from behind her, Fuji TV reported. The woman said the man held her in a full nelson and after threatening her with a knife, cut her hands, before stealing her bag and running away.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts to her hands.

Not very reassuring news to read about.

Wearing all black... how is that helpful. How about a height or build.

"The woman said the man held her in a full nelson"
I'm sorry, I got a bit confused at this part....
Regardless, sympathies for the poor girl and hope that the lowlife is caught soon.

It's mostly used as a wrestling move.

I think this must be lost in translation. Please explain how one can threaten with a knife when holding someone in a "full nelson"? If one googles an image of full nelson, it is clear that it take two hands. Where was he holding the knife, between his legs? Perhaps it should say "half nelson" or "headlock".

They are not trying to act tough what they are trying to do is find a target that presents the less risk for them.

Alright, so he knows a good wrestling move, should narrow it down a bit...
And he plays Rugby for the New Zealand National team.
How many of those around Utsunomiya?
