Committing suicide is an honorable act, the ultimate apology

Nah it’s the sign of a weak loser who could do the crime, but was too much of a man baby to do the time.

I don't understand such men, there is no reason to look for sex with women in that way he did.

Rape isn’t about sex. It’s about violence, anger, and dominance.

Committing suicide is an honorable act, the ultimate apology. His last act was an admission of guilt and an apology to all wronged by his acts.

Who cares, the guy is dead, he wanted out, he got his wish, and I think he took the coward's way out, I can't stand these kind of people, I think vigilante justice would be more appropriate, but that is just my opinion.

No country allows citizens to go on a vigilante spree, much less a country anyone would want to live in.

Woman agreed to meet man. Check into hotel and blamed him for rape. My brain is confused.

As you said correctly, they did not only agree to meet him somewhere in a public place like in a shopping mall, restaurant or park, but agreed to check into a hotelroom together with him. For what reason did they do this is a good question. What did they expect from him?

We do not know all details. Maybe he asked them for a more private conversation between him and them or he promised to show or give them something. These women must be very gullible, just my guess.

There are however five women complaining about this man in a similar way, this cannot be coincidence.

I don't understand such men, there is no reason to look for sex with women in that way he did. There are many women around almost everywhere in Japan who are willing to offer sex against some money in soaplands, heath fashion clubs and such establishments. No need at all to engage yourself in criminal activity which might ruin your life.

Just because she agreed to meet him doesn't mean she consented to having sex with him as the evening went on. She's allowed to change her mind whenever. No means no means no. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

(Good God...)

Is it possible to committed suicude in a cell? From time to time prisoners do. Apart from the wretched Epstein, in Australia the suicide of Aboriginal prisoners, in the Northern Tertitory in particular, has been an issue for some years now. All you need is a means.

This guy wasn’t on suicide watch. Prisoners who are actually on “suicide watch” in Japan are basically kept naked in a heated cell with no clothing to asphyxiate themselves with and definitely no pens and pencils for suicide notes.

He knew too much, someone wants him being silent forever. Is it possible to commit suicide under custody, very doubtful!

He just saved all the taxpayers a bunch of money. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

100% spot on.

So, he lived as a coward, and died a coward.

I hope the poor victims of this scumbag will one day recover.

Was this really suicide or an "Epstein"?

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

The officer, who was on suicide watch,

So Suicide Watch means watch the inmate commit suicide.......??

Well, that saved the local government some money, but got to wonder if he didn't do the same thing while in Okayama and how many other silent victims he had.

Woman agreed to meet man.

Doesn't mean they agreed to have sex with him, or to be blackmailed by him.

According to the police, Iwamoto left what appeared to be a suicide note.

That is just great!

It means that the ever efficient Japanese Police can't quite work out / decide if the note left by a person who committed suicide is a suicide note.

To give them some leeway, it could be a shopping list or study notes!

I know right? If society were comfortable enough with euthanasia it could provided in prisons as well where it is needed.

The wolf hides amongst us chickens...

What? Are we chickens or are we men? Also, more like the hound guarding the chickens, and not the wolf because we are aware that the wolf is dangerous.

"It is regrettable that an incident like this occurred. We will have a thorough probe to prevent a recurrence."

Yeah, yeah. Sure.

Suicide watch means looking every 10-15 minutes.

So as long as you do that it doesn't matter if the person commits suicide, you followed the rulebook and are promoted?

Some Suicide Watch. A big fail.

11 ( +17 / -6 )

It appears that the suicide watch was not effective. Will there be repercussions?

9 ( +14 / -5 )

Probably a view that people will think is cold as hell, but thank you to the guy for saving us taxpayers millions of yen.

The officer, who was on suicide watch,…

..

managed to commit suicide.

It couldn’t have been much of a watch then?

I have difficulty to believe this type of suicides in the jail as being suicide. it seems extremely difficult to suicide in such a way. However, i believe that his suicide is for the best interest of the society and i am glad to hear he is gone.

Too bad he didn’t do it sooner.

Rot in hell.
