It is not known what the man did to be convicted of harming China's national security.

That's why nobody trusts China's judicial system - they don't even say what's violated

He probably took pictures of some birds of military strategic importance. Their feather patterns encrypted military secrets or somethings. Cunning spies

He added Japan has repeatedly called on China to ensure "transparency in the judicial process"

Imagine that a foreign country, or even China, dared to repeatedly call on Japan to ensure "transparency in the judicial process" and "人質司法". We would reply that it's perfectly OK, we are transparent, make a new webpage and a mascot, throw pamphlets here and there and make an excuse that you can't compare our country with a Western country.

I'd rather be quiet

He added -US has repeatedly called on J-land to ensure "transparency in the judicial process" and will continue pushing for the Taylors early return.

Don’t go to China full stop as it seems you can be locked up on a whim over there..

I doubt there is any ‘transparency’ when we don’t even know the substance of the charge!

Japan's top spokesman, Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato, said the government will do "everything we can" to support the man's safe return.

yeah but all those american companies over there giving them mega economic powers. So they can come back and whup yo azz.

I don't think we are in a position to criticise another countries legal system to be honesgy

Sure we are. The Chinese legal system harvests organs and sells them. We most definitely can, should, and will criticize it.

Well Thomas you obviously had a good time over there, living and working so what would be your opinion on the fairness and transparency of the legal system in China?

If all other countries would have to build prisons for their Chinese spies to put in , the world would have a construction boom like never seen before...lol

@Sven

Brilliant comment but most people do not seem to understand the Chinese mindset/global plan.

@Thomas Goodtime I've lived and worked in China numerous times. Never had any problems, never went to prison. I don't think we are in a position to criticize another countries legal system to be honest". LMFAO, thank you for being honest, but to the reality is you had nothing to offer them thats why you had no problems when you worked there. No money, no life!!! As you have read the chinese sent the Japanese national back penniless. You were lucky to get out without getting any blood taken.

Don't think you have any proof of that

Yes we do: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/china-forcefully-harvests-organs-detainees-tribunal-concludes-n1018646

there's no use using 'we' because that means everyone.

Sorry, I meant we as in "people with ethics". I should have been more clear so you wouldn't misunderstand and think you were in the group I was referring to.
