There is definitelt some form of PR control behind the scenes just as there always is in Japan during such matters.

Because media in Japan try to keep image Japan is a safe country, foreign news outlet use that word for this incident.

Even they try to avoid to announce his death, just keep saying that he was in critical condition.

Political terrorism, a shrill speculative wild assumption, the conjectural supposition that the shooter motivation was an assault on the principals of Freedom of speech is deliberately baiting public anxiety.

This was an assassination. Shocking that this happen in Japan.

Until there is detailed criminal psychology/forensic psychology analysis/reports undertaken then presented to the judiciary, there is no tangible evidence into the motivations of the alleged shooters intentions.

There should be reporting restrictions to prevent trial by media by media/sub judice.
