A 21-year-old former instructor at a major Tokyo cram school specializing in junior high school entrance exams, has been sent to the public prosecutor’s office after being charged with voyeuristically filming two of his female elementary school students’ underwear.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Office for Youth Affairs, Sosho Mori, who taught at Yotsuya Otsuka cram school, also faces additional charges of violating the nuisance-prevention ordinance by filming three other female students at the school in Hino City, Kyodo News reported.
According to investigators, Mori was working at the cram school as a full-time employee from April 2022 to August this year. During this time, he allegedly filmed girls’ underwear, using his smartphone.
Police said one of the girls was as young as seven. Mori is also accused of uploading the images online.
It has also been revealed that more elementary school students at the cram school may have been victims of the non-consensual filming. Police said Mori told them he secretly filmed over a dozen girls who were his students.© Japan Today
