Police in Niigata Prefecture said Monday that a man committed suicide in Aga on Sunday after a police officer stopped his car.
According to police, the man was wanted by Ishikawa Prefectural Police in connection with an assault investigation. TBS reported that the officer stopped the car on Route 49 at around 10:30 a.m. As the officer approached the car, the 34-year-old driver stabbed himself in the neck with a knife.
Police say the man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. In a statement, police said that there was no suspicion of misconduct on the part of the officer.

Sounds like this man's guilty conscience doesn't measure up to what investigation he was connected to, perhaps he's done something even worse that he hadnt been caught for yer.
