Woman held for taking indecent photos of 6-yr-old daughter for sale

A 28-year-old woman was arrested under anti-child pornography laws on Wednesday, after allegedly taking indecent photos of her 6-year-old daughter for the purposes of sale, police said.

The woman, a housewife and resident of Hachimantai City, is accused of taking 18 photos on her cell phone of her daughter at home between Oct 22 last year and Jan 9 this year.

Police said the photos were discovered while they were investigating the woman in a separate case of violation of child pornography laws. The woman has admitted she took the photos of her daughter to sell them, and police are trying to determine who she sold them to.

You sick sick sick b1tch

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That's a whole new level of sick.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Her own mother? It doesn't get any more disgusting than that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Indecent huh? Well, that is about as clear as mud.

How about paintings of cherubs? Indecent and anyone who would buy one, sick. Obviously such things are all about sex. Obviously.

For a new LV bag or Hermes scarf, no doubt. This action is pure evil. It would be horrendous if this child isn't permanently removed from that household with total loss of maternal contact . The husband needs to move on today with divorce and full custody. He'll get both.

SBBarnes,

Whatever, dude. Whatever.

SICK!

I could get on the moral outrage bandwagon, but hey, it is just another day in the Twilight Zone, aka Japan.

Anyway, I hope this woman gets literally shafted to the full extent of the law, meaning a long-term prison sentence and all the shame that should be associated with such a disgusting crime.

Furthermore, I hope the cops go in boots and all and find out who the buyers were. Again, lock such rock spiders up and make their names public.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Still, no real details in this case. Not sure why she fealt she needed the money that bad either... And may I ask one question... where is the husband in all of this?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Ughhh....

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This b!tch don't deserve to be a mother.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

how about going to some of the big shops in akihabara which sell dvds and pictures of very young girls. Why arent they closed down? Maybe if they are in skimpy swimsuits and not naked its okay?

"The husband needs to move on today with divorce and full custody. He'll get both."

A father with full custody in Japan? That's a tough nut to crack. But if this case doesn't do it, nothing will.

If this is the wife I dread the husband.

sell the TV, sell the P2, sell yourself if you have to, why would you harm a child?

I missed the part where a child was harmed in the taking of the pictures. Could you direct me to it?

How poor mental of Japanese.?Six year old babies photos wants to sale for pornographic and to get money, how poor this society?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Now this is too sick. But we can expect such cases when a very common reason for Japanese young women to get pregnant is to just trap a single man into marriage. Then a baby is used as a TOOL for securing an income (wife's income of man's salary) and later it may be used again as a source of income. It has a complex psychology ...

are you joking?

I missed the part where a child was harmed in the taking of the pictures. Could you direct me to it?

There's always someone defending the actions that are unthinkable to most. OK SBbarnes, let me direct you to it. Child is harmed, at least because she will think this is a natural thing to do. Her changes of being respectable member of the community is crushed with her mothers actions, in very early age. She is almost guranteed to feel comfortable in front of the camera, exposing her genetiles her whole life. You may not understand what's wrong with that either, but just think how you'd feel if it was your mom doing the same. Making living out of displaying your body to hungry wolves is not respected. Not many of us would marry a woman who were passed around like a peace pipe most of their lives, would you?

It's irrelevant whether the child is harmed. Crimes are prosecuted because of their effect, or potential effect, on society at large.

FYI, I am all for playing Devil's Advocate on occasion but you really need to learn how to pick and choose your battles. This is not one of them.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Is this one of those cases where it's acceptable to lie to the child when she grows up and tell her that mother is dead?

combinibento wrote: It's irrelevant whether the child is harmed.

Ok. But your post is directed at the wrong person or people. I am not the one making the claim the child was harmed. I just said I missed part where it said the child was harmed. So little detail...everyone forgive me for not imagining the worst and demanding my ugliest of imaginations must be the truth. The first thing I always ask for is the facts and I don't see much here but conjecture and as yet unproven allegations.

You people would hang a guy for having pictures of his own kids in the bath based on an unproven allegation. That is the level of most of the posts here and I am not impressed.

I think this was proved pretty much as she admited to have done it for money. What do you think aboout this? Do you think moms should have right to distribute naked pictures of their kids to strangers for money?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Why to post this message about a MENTALLY DERARANGED WOMAN?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

SBBarnes-The same sickos who don't see anything wrong with this are the same sickos who buy the images and keep this pathetic industry going.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I think too many of you are letting your assumptions get the better of you. You've flown off the handle without being sure of the facts.

The facts are: Mom took photos of daughter with cell phone to profit from them. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that most photos sold for profit are taken with actual cameras of high quality, generally by photographers with skill. The use of a mobile phone to take photos, with the intent to sell them, indicates the subject matter alone - not the aesthetic quality of the photos - was "marketable" in this woman's mind. We also know the subject matter of the photos involved a 6 year old girl. Use common sense, dude. What could a 6 year old girl (and a stranger to potential buyers) possibly be doing in a cell phone picture that is "unique" enough to warrant selling to strangers? We also know this woman possibly violated anti-pornography laws in an unrelated case. Granted, the term "indecent" is a little vague, but we can presume it is "sexually inappropriate or offensive," or similar such that it is under the purview of the anti-pornography laws. Granted, while "indecent" is a vague term, the US Supreme Court put it best when addressing "porn" as opposed to "art" - "You know it when you see it." Given the above, and the total lack of any facts to believe it was anything innocent, warrants our assumptions.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

whatever, indecent or not..taking nude pictures of a 6 year old is more than a dirty crime, its a friggin' abomination. period.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

No words can describe how utterly disgusting of an act this is...

God help us, especially that poor child.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She will express regret and they will let her go

Money is the root of all evil...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Money is the root of all evil... no ,the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. In any case thismother behaviour deserves full weight of the law, how disgusting!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Poor kid. Hope the police throw the book at her. She deserves it. Horrendous.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Too sad. I've spent a lot of time getting furious about people like this. Now that I am older I just want to know why. Putting a woman like this in jail for years or killing her doesn't do much for her daughter.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Hang her high

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Cut off her tits!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Well, she really messed up when she decided to sell those pictures.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I would guess that the woman had no husband or boyfriend from the lack of mention. I would guess the woman was rather desperate for money. It could be the photos were merely really sexy and the girl didn't mind being photographed. Pornography does NOT lead to other crimes ('Report of the Commission on Obscenity and Pornography', 1970) and, in my opinion, should be legal. I hope the mother does NOT go to jail and is NOT separated from her kid. In the U. S., when a kid is snatched from her parent, she is put in a foster home, with often rather bad results. I don't know what usually happens in Japan. I haven't heard of orphanages in Japan.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Let's all hope and pray that this evil woman is prevented from ever seeing or having any contact with the child ever again. A 20-30 year prison stint is what I expect will happen.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

...also, in my mind it will be a test case of the "fairness" of the so called "Justice System" in Japan. While government prosecutors are calling for 18 months in the slammer for Nori-P - for being caught with 0.0008 g of a drug (a negligible amount) - will they demand a greater sentence for this act of gross indecency against a child? If not, then the Japanese system will be demonstrated internationally to be high-farce.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Unfortunately, Japan is one of the worlds leaders in internet child porn - along with Russia and former Soviet states - and despite the West (and U.N.) trying to bring them into line, it appears the pervs out there are still able to perv in Japan at will. Can't see the authorities moving to change this any time soon, sadly.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

We moved on the sex slave ceses in the USA last week, now we are sighting Asia. Enough said.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Why the surprise guys, who do you think takes most child porn photos anyway, it's the parents. Yes she is a sick mother but she's certainly not alone.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

BurakuminDes: I don't think the pervs can perv at will in Japan, they arrested the mother and will arrest anyone who bought photos from her, isn't that how the law works?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The kiddie porn photos will go nicely with the police's up-skirt photo collection.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Poor kid, twisted woman. But desperate people will do desperate things. Try not to judge her too harshly unless you've been in the same boat--and what that boat is, we don't know.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It's not the taking the pictures of anyone nude that's bad. That's fine and in many places, like the US, it's LEGAL. Any age. It's called naturism or nudism or something... It has to be natural and without any indication that it is anything but natural.

However, selling them for sexual pleasure is where it really crossed the line. Hopefully the child is young enough that she does not understand the implications or find that this is ok.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@lutfreak. Your reasoning sucks. The girl was 6 years old. Children doesnt have an understanding of adult sexuality and the mother sold them for a market where the buyers must have been paedophiles. This is way beyond just using the term "pornography".

0 ( +0 / -0 )

selling photos taken by a cell phone?????? not undermining it's indecent behavior towards a child, but really people buy photos from a cell phone?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

but really people buy photos from a cell phone?

Clearly in this case it depends on the pictures content, not the quality. I would equally like to see the police go after anyone who bought these pictures, if anyone. It`s not clear if it got that far.

@lutfreak - I was under the impression that pornography IS legal? If it isn`t, then every combini in Japan is about to be raided! What we are talking about here is kiddie-porn. I am not going to start a big debate on where the line gets drawn between kiddie and normal porn but anyone in their right mind must agree that 6 years old is totally different to 26 years old and a willing, knowing, money-receiving participant.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Lutfreak:

I haven't heard of orphanages in Japan.

There are actually quite a number of them. The bike club I ride with is in the midst of preparing for a Toys for Tots run for one of them right now.

In a case like this, the child is unlikely to go to an orphanage - more often they will go to live with their father, grandparents, or other relatives.

Unfortunately, that means the same family that produced her mother.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

if she needed money THAT bad, she should have sold HER OWN photos, not the daughter's!!! either way, it's disgusting, though. At the age of 6, the girl will clearly remember what her mom did to her, and even if she doesn't understand now, she WILL when she is a bit older. Scary.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

fishy, I am sure she knew which ones were worth more. In her mind, she was going for the highest price, pure and simple.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

nandakandamanda:

I am sure she knew which ones were worth more. In her mind, she was going for the highest price, pure and simple.

This is why it should be reported what price she was charging for the pictures. That she was arrested for "indecent" photos indicates that the photos were not just nude pictures. Well, they cannot very well show us the pictures, but we can be told how much someone was paying for them.

Another way you can tell this woman is truly evil is that her involvement in pornography is extensive, not just taking these snapshots of her daughter. As article states:

Police said the photos were discovered while they were investigating the woman in a separate case of violation of child pornography laws.

Inside Japan, What are you into kiddy porn? There is no excuse whatsoever.

She should receive the death penalty. and you should receive jail for sympathising.

This proves pedophiles come in all shapes, sizes, colors, religions, and sexes. This woman shows, there ARE women pedophiles. What was she making this child do!?
