Police said Wednesday they have arrested a 37-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing a 40-year-old woman in Tokyo on Tuesday night.
According to Fuji TV, the victim was walking along a street in Setagaya Ward's Mishuku at about 7 p.m. when the incident occurred. Police say the accused walked toward the victim, then turned and stabbed her in the lower back with a fruit knife, causing serious injuries. Neither woman knew each other, police said.
The suspect was quoted by police as saying that she remembers taking the fruit knife from home and walking through the streets, but doesn't remember stabbing anyone with it, Fuji reported.© Japan Today
