Woman arrested for stealing guitars belonging to Le Couple singer

An unemployed 35-year-old woman has been arrested over the theft of a guitar belonging to Ryuji Fujita of the famous husband-wife musical duo Le Couple.

According to police, in April of this year, Satsuki Hirashima broke into a music studio in Tokyo's Itabashi Ward, and stole two guitars belonging to Fujita -- a classical guitar with an estimated value of 3 million yen, and an electric guitar worth 250,000 yen, TBS reported Friday.

Police said Hirashima was found out after she attempted to put the guitars up for auction online; someone saw the guitars, recognized them as stolen, and then phoned the police.

Hirashima was quoted by police as saying: "I stole the guitars because I really needed some quick cash."

Fujita and his ex-wife Emi Fujita made their debut in 1994, but went their separate ways in 2001. The couple divorced in 2007.

What a dummy. Stealing from high profile people, and then selling their stuff online...you can't get any dumber than that.

If you need quick money, why she took the risky and time-consuming way... and HOW could she enter into that studio so easily...
