Police in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Sunday arrested a 35-year-old unemployed woman on suspicion of killing her 68-year-old father with whom she lived.
Police said Yuko Kawa has admitted to beating and kicking her father Hideo in the head after a violent quarrel at their home at around 4 p.m. Saturday, Sankei Shimbun reported.
Kawa called 119 after assaulting her father and he was taken to hospital where he died about an hour later.
Kawa was quoted by police as saying she had argued with her father about using his pension for living expenses.

Shameful and disgusting.
35-year-old unemployed- argued with her father about using his pension for living expenses.
Should have got a job and started to take care of your Dad. No, you had to leech off him and use his pension to pay bills. Then kicked him in the head until he dies. WTF is wrong some Japanese woman? Dragons!

Hope she gets the same punishment as a man would get!!

So much is missing from this story. She was unemployed but did she have a husband and family? I say this because sometimes I have seen that these types expect the parents to continue to supplement their family's income even though they have work (or another family). Or was this one of those ladies who never went out on their own and expected the father to continue to take care of her.
Either way, a tragedy that a life was lost over money.

Well, here's hoping she never has to worry about living expenses for a great many years, this woman.

Seems a lot of murders are committed by unemployed people in Japan. Now I don't know what their job skills are but as long as they are willing to work they should be hired and trained. Now it must be frustrating that in your own country you can't find work because your country brings in so many foreigners to take jobs away from Japanese people. Not fair to the people of Japan.
