When are the police going to catch this coward? Are they even trying to get him?

It happened right outside the entrance to Osaka Police Hospital.

Come on bystanders, speak-up. You can't tell me that there are that many people that ride around with metal rods on their bicycles in Japan.

"Watch yourself ladies"

Yes, absolutely. But a woman walking home alone at 1am on a Saturday morning - in Tennoji too - is something I have only seen in Japan (and usually wearing high heels).

If I was walking alone there at that time I'd be carrying an iron bar.

Yikes. If memory serves Tennoji is kind of a rough neighborhood. Hopefully they catch this dirtbag before he hurts anyone else.

No doubt these sensational headlines about crime on JT will alarm many.

The illusion that Japan is 100% safe and devoid of any crime is shattered.

Of course Japan is like any other nation, hardly crime free, but you know how it goes.
