A 40-year-old woman was cut on her thigh while riding a train in Tokyo on Monday.
According to police, the woman got off the Yamanote line train at JR Osaki Station in Shinagawa Ward at around 9 a.m. and noticed she was bleeding from a cut on her left upper thigh, Fuji TV reported. She notified a station employee who called police.
The woman was taken to hospital where a doctor said the 2-cm-deep wound will take about three weeks to heal.
Police said the wound was about 10 cms long, going across from the back of the woman's left thigh just above her pantyhose. The woman told police she didn't feel anything at the time and that someone must have put a blade up her dress and cut her just as she was leaving the train.© Japan Today
