Police are investigating the murder of a 38-year-old Chinese woman who was found unconscious, naked and bleeding from a head wound in the bathroom of a love hotel in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, on Sunday.

According to police, the victim was found by a hotel employee at around 4 p.m., and was rushed to the hospital, where she died early Monday, Fuji TV reported.

The hotel has a record of a couple checking in at around 2:30 p.m. However, the man checked out at around 3:50 p.m.

Police are examining security camera footage from the hotel to try and identify who the woman might have checked into the hotel with.

Unless he was wearing a disguise and walked/rode a bicycle there, he should be caught pretty quickly with all of the cameras they have at those places.

It is called dark humour, and I know that is an unknown concept in Japanese society. This is a gaijin site, so get used to it. Nobody was laughing at you or at the victim.

(Reminds me of the brouhaha about the atomic survivor joke on the British "IQ" show a year ago. The Japanese press went ballistic, but they completely misunderstood the joke.)
