Police in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, said Wednesday that a 37-year-old woman was found dead with knife wounds to her neck in her apartment on Tuesday night.
According to police, the victim, Miki Kuroda, was found in her third floor apartment by a male friend who had come to visit her at around 8:30 p.m., TV Asahi reported. Police said Kuroda had deep knife wounds in her neck.
No weapon was found on the premises, police said.

The reason knives can't be banned is that they're too prevalent. Everyone has at least one. Rather than this being a point for less gun control, as the gun enthusiasts argue, this is an argument for making guns less prevalent.
I'm sure the cops are looking at the guy who found her, among others.
