The suspects -- two aged 22 and one aged 19 -- entered the apartment and stabbed the man, who is in his 40s, in the chest with a knife while he slept. 10 years isn't enough. If they were successful, another life would've bitten the dust. The woman should've gotten a life sentence or more.

Attempted murder should carry a longer sentence than actual murder, as ‘attempted’ means you tried but were rubbish at it.

Poor husband, he’s got now only estimated 7-10 years good sleep and break, after that , maybe with an earlier release, all those four attackers will probably come again for him, because she wants it done, they have to complete if they want getting paid, and all four together of course take rage for the imprisonment and lost time.

Very fortunate for the victim that his wife was inept and unable to hire anybody that would do the job better, coincide in thinking the sentence seems to short for the crime she was trying to pull.

No surprise there. The first thing I thought of was if she is so in debt how can she pay 3 hired killers? But the killers seem young and stupid, so just as well they botched the job - they wouldn't have gotten paid anyway. They'll be older and smarter (hopefully) when they get out of prison.

Divorce would have led to her being able to claim at least 1/2 of what he had left.

I know someone whose Wife will probably want to kill him at some point, she mistakenly thinks he support's the CCP, as she's an active member of the opposition group supported/founded by Guo Wenhui.
