Were any valuables taken? The police need to make urgent inquiries in order to get justice for this old lady...

With limited info, I can only guess the woman may have been unfortunately involved in an incident. Hope police catch the suspect ASAP.

Did the broken pieces of glass land inside or outside of the house?

How on earth could something like this ever occur in Japan??????????????????? This should be the place where anyone regardless of age, gender, strength, size etc. should be able to roam freely or stay at home and not worry about being bothered. This is not a dangerous place such as San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Tijuana, Mexico, Glasgow Scotland or even Malmo Sweden. This kind of thing should not be happening in Japan.
