"dressed in black clothes with a black beanie." It seems these nutcracks always wear black, as a disguise, next time wear a hoodie.

Rather easy to notice. It's only a matter of time before he gets arrested.

Wearing all black with a black beanie.. This guy had too much spy-films..

But lucky for the woman this guy is not a hardened criminal and didn't kill her.. Seriously, if the guy has a knife and just cuts your face, its better to give the bag.. Its not worth your life..

Glad the woman is okay, and hopefully the beanie is the little bit of information that helps nab this guy, as the rest won't. Agree to an extent with sado001... she's lucky to be alive; it's not worth the risk, people.

What the hell is wrong with people?

At first I thought this might have been my girlfriend that got attacked.. time.. location... But she never carries a hand bag, always a backpack. And she has a blackbelt in karate and resting bitch-face.

Poor woman ! It would certainly scare the wits out of me if I were attacked...

I hope these "slashers" are as well "informed" as the "ore-ore" guys - they would then know that grabbing my handbag for the 200 yen it (sometimes) contains, is really not worth the effort...

Legit the number of cowardice attacks against women in this country is astounding. Must be one of the worst in the world in this regard...

That narrows it down. 90% of the guys I saw at the combini tonight could be suspects.

I second that. Why don't these cowards jack guys their own size? Leave the women, children and elderly alone.

Whether for financial gain or just sexual kicks it sounds very much like this man will strike again.

He got away this time but his luck won't last.

"He got away this time but his luck won't last"

He's probably done it DOZENS of times already. The difference was that this woman reported it and had the injuries to prove it otherwise you would not be reading about it, because...

Japan in a law-abiding country with a low crime-rate!!
