Woman stabbed while walking home in Chiba

A woman in her 20s was stabbed in the stomach by a man as she walked home in Chiba on Monday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. as the woman walked along a sidewalk in Inage Ward. The woman, who was able to call 110 after the attack, said the man, whom she did not know, approached her from the front and suddenly stabbed her.

Police said the woman was taken to hospital where doctors said her wound will require about two weeks to heal.

The assailant is described as being about 170 cms tall, of medium build and was wearing a cap.

Police said they are examining street surveillance camera footage to try and identify the man.

Random crimes may be down, but planned ones are definitely same or even increased in recent years, but there are more cover ups when it us done by high-class citizens.

I know of 2 murders personally but were not investigated as such because the perpatrators were from influentual families. All of us and our families were threatened

Chiba, Saitama, Kawasaki, and other Tokyo bedtowns are a magnet for crazies.

IMO:

I remember in the 70's Singapore, had a rough time with crime, but when the police population began to be mixed with other nationals, and their laws became stricter, crime dramatically reduced. Now Singapore in 10 times safer than Japan and now the Japanese yen is very close to the Nepalese rupee, and Nepal does not make any name brand vehicles.
